Probate
The process of establishing the value of a decease and whether there is an existing valid Will.
The Executors must provide the Probate Registry with:
- The most recent Will
- The Family Tree
- Current valuations of the assets of the deceased which Probate passes to HMRC
Once completed the Executors obtain “the Grant of Probate” which gives the Executors authority to collect the assets within the estate. All assets over £5,000 go through Probate whether there is a Will or not.
We provide access to a dedicated Probate Department offering guidance and assistance with a client’s Probate needs, as much as required, at a very competitive price (fixed fee) when compared with high street Solicitors and Banks.
